HEALING PROCESS

Day 1-3: Eyebrows may appear darker and bolder

Day 3-8: Flaking, slight scabbing, and itchiness is typical but may not occur

Day 8-12: Strokes may look lighter. This is natural and as the skin continues to exfoliate, the pigment will darken.

Day 12-14: Strokes will darken and healing should finish

NOTE: Healing process is different for everyone. The above timeline can vary. This is a very shallow tattoo, the skin on the face is a lot thinner than anywhere else on the body. You want to be extra delicate for 2 weeks with your new brows until the skin heals up over the pigment. Then you can go back to regular skin care routine.

Because this is a superficial tattoo, it is normal to loose a hair stroke, or have a section not take as well. At least half of my clients come back in for an initial touch up minimum of 5 weeks after the initial. Touch ups are completely up to your preference and if you are happy with the results.

Maintenance touch ups are suggested to keep them fresh. The typical touch up is 1.5 years after the initial. This is completely individual, some come back in a year, other 2+ years.

AFTERCARE

Once daily, starting after the first 24 hours:

  • Wash brows quickly and gently with provided tattoo soap. Use cool water, air or gently pat dry

  • Apply provided aftercare cream once a day. Twice a day if skin is dry.

Wash around your brows when cleaning your face with other facial products. Do the best you can when washing your hair. If they get wet it's ok, try your best to not soak, steam, or get other products on them.

No makeup on your brows for 2 weeks, around is ok.

No sun

No pool/ jacuzzi/ soaking brows

No chemical peels or abrasive facial treatments for 4 weeks.

No sweating (try low impact workouts or activities that do not cause sweating), jacuzzi, pool, steam room, sun, or heat for 2 weeks.

Do not apply any anti aging/ acne products, or any other products with retinols, glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acids for 4 weeks. These products will speed up exfoliation of skin and pigment.
